Here we go again, yet another key person in our political system practicing yoga. After the most recent political hearing on Benghazi that lasted for over 12 hours, Hillary Clinton replied that it was yoga that helped her to tay alert and energetic during the extensive meeting.
Last year, Clinton told People Magazine that water aerobics and yoga were her exercises of choice. The New York Times also reported on her stamina-building practice, citing friends who said that she had more energy and was practicing yoga while spending more time on her physical fitness.
How can a person with so much on her plate have room for a couple sun salutations each week? Chances are it's the bendy practice that helps: Yoga has been shown to make people more productive, less stressed and generally happier. As the saying goes, if you don't have time to meditate for 20 minutes, you should meditate for an hour. Perhaps the same can be said for yoga.
